An image of Bowl and Cover. Sugar Basin. Ashbee, Charles Robert, designer (British, 1863-1942). Guild of Handicraft Ltd. The shallow circular bowl stands on a spreading trumpet foot between two wide loop handles, which divide and have stylized flowers where they join the rim and foot. The low cover has a rope border enclosing a dappled green enamelled centre with capstan-shaped knob set with mother-of-pearl. Silver, raised, green enamel cover and mother-of pearl knob, height, to top of finial, 10 cm, width, across the handles, 25.2 cm,  weight 330 g, 1906-1907. Arts and Crafts movement. Note: The Guild of Handicraft Ltd. worked from Essex House, Chipping Camden.
