Bowl. Production Place: China. A kinrande red bowl with gilt lotus, mark Fu Gui Jia Qi (lucky vessel for the rich and honourable), (crack and frits), diameter 12.1 cm. Jiajing period (1522-1566). 16th century. Notes: Kinrande (literally "gold brocade") is a Japanese porcelain style where gold is applied on the surface. There are a number of various styles. It developed from the Chinese wucai during the middle of the Ming dynasty.
