Netsuke. Unknown maker, Japan. Possibly a tobacco pouch with its cord and its Ojime (the closing bead) carved on the reversed side, the pipe and the ash tray are next to the pouch, there is an Oni mask as the Netsuke for this Tabako-ire. Ivory inlay in horn and gold coloured wire with red lacquer decoration on the pouch. 1870-1900.
