Jewellery/Mourning Ring. Inscribed, 'Elizabeth Dixon died aged 62, 13 Jan 1780'. Plain gold hoop widening at shoulders. Shoulders decorated with chased foliate design. Long oval bezel with chased border surrounding, under glass, a wheatsheaf of hair bound with pearls, on ivory. Height, hoop, 2.0 mm, length, hoop, 23.0 mm, height, bezel (oval) 5.0 mm, width, bezel (oval) 17.0 mm, length, bezel (oval) 24.5 mm, 1797.
