An image of Funerary Equipment. Coffin fragments, decorated. This coffin shows a procession of mourners, who consisted of friends, servants and family of the deceased. Unlike the Middle Kingdom eye coffins, where both eyes are shown on a single panel, this example only has one eye on each of the side panels. Production Place: Egypt, Find Spot: Arabah, el- Egypt. Wood, painted, height 39.3 cm, length 111.6 cm, 1580-1550 B.C. Previously attributed to Dynasty 13. Seventeenth Dynasty. Middle Kingdom.
