Man playing the zheng. Youqua, Chinese artist (ac.1840-1870). Watercolour, bodycolour, and ink with heightening in white, gold and silver on pith paper, laid down with with strips of blue silk-covered paper, height, 337, mm, width, 250, mm, 19th Century. Chinese. Production Notes: Stamp on the album gives the address of Youqua's first studio, Old Street No.34. He later opened a second in Hong Kong at No.107 Queen's Road.
