Red earthenware, the interior lead-glazed; the exterior tin-glazed, but applied thinly on the back and appearing pinkish-grey in places. Painted in blue, green, and yellow. Maiolica, height, whole, 37.0 cm, diameter, rim, 15.8 cm, diameter, base, 15.5 cm, width, whole, 30.1 cm, circa 1510-1530. Renaissance. Italy, Tuscany, Siena (perhaps).
