Miniature casket engraved with buildings

An image of Metalwork/Miniature Casket. Unknown Maker. Rectangular standing on four ball feet, the hinged cover having a central handle, with a keyhole and key behind it. The top and corners have silver mounts, and there are projecting steel bands round the top and above the bottom of the sides. The brass panels on the top and front are engraved with buildings, those on the ends with scale pattern set with quatrefoils, and the back and base with formal plant and geometrical design. The underside of the lid has a complicated steel lock mechanism held to it by pins. Gilt brass, with steel and silver mounts, and steel mechanism, engraved decoration, height, whole, 3.3 cm, length, whole, 4.8 cm, width, whole, 3.1 cm.
