Studio Ceramics. Bowl. Homocky, Nicholas (British, b.1950). Circular, with a narrow, concave base, deep slightly curved sides, and four shaped pieces applied round the upper part: two small pieces set close together, and two larger differently-shaped pieces more widely spaced. Inside there is a broad black band below the rim, and on the exterior, inlaid abstrtact decoration of double and single straight and curved lines. Unglazed porcelain, thrown, with applied curved pieces, and black inlaid decoration, height, whole, 12.4 cm, diameter, whole, 14.2 cm, 1996. Gift of Nicholas and Judith Goodison through the National Art Collections Fund.
