Studio Ceramics. Double-Spine Camber Vessel. Flynn, Sara (Irish, b.1971). Tall vessel with reduced-size heart-shaped opening at the top. The upper part folded on either side of the opening to form a short spine and shoulder, the lower part retains its thrown form. Spray glazed inside and out to give a bronze-like surface. The underside is small, round, flat and unglazed. White porcelain, thrown and altered, spray glazed and polished. Height 23 cm, width 16.5 cm, 2014.
