Textiles/Stomacher. Linen, bound ribbon and lined linen, worked with coloured silks and metal thread in back, couching, French knots and satin stitch. A large symmetrical spray of stylised flowers (rose, etc.) and leaves. Background quilted in a vermicule design. Length, whole, 12.75 in, width, whole, 9.5 in, circa 1700- circa 1749. English.
