Image attached to HEN.M.1A-E-1933

An image of Armour/half armour. Unknown production, Germany. Half armour consisting of a burgonet, an 'Almain' collar, a cuirass, a pair of short tassets, and two pauldrons and vambraces, nearly forming a pair. Most of the armour originally had a 'black from the hammer' finish, now cleaned to a mottled bright finish with medium to heavy pitting overall. Steel, hammered, riveted. Circa 1550-1610.
