Studio Ceramics. Spade-shaped Form. Coper, Hans (British, 1920-1981, Somerset, b. Germany). The pot has a cylindrical stem supporting a hollow spade form, with an indented horizontal line running round it about 2.2 cm from the top and overlapping to form two lines on one side. Stoneware, thrown, and coated with semi-matt manganese-black slip, height, whole, 16.2 cm, width, whole, 15.5 cm, diameter, foot, 5.4 cm, circa 1970-circa 1975.
