Fritware/Stonepaste Tile. Unknown. Upper side: a spray of blue carnations spring from a blue vase, both the spray and vase are clasped by a green agrafe. Either side of the vase, two smaller floral sprays and along each vertical edge two partial cypress trees with sprouting prunus style branches, all painted in blue and green. Probably fritware, mould made, painted under the glaze in blue and green under a colourless glaze, height 25.0 cm, width 25.2 cm, depth 1.0 cm, weight, whole, 1191 g, circa 1600-1799. Ottoman Period. Turkey, probably Iznik.
