Saucer dish. In the centre is a flowering spray of 'morning glory', in the border within double circles in blue, are four sprays of flowers and fruit. On the outside of the dish is a well filled border of flowers and leaves. Decorated in underglaze blue on a yellow enamel ground, height 5.1 cm, diameter 26.3 cm, 1488-1505. Hung Chih period. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Chinese.
