Bowl shaped earthenware cooking vessel with an animal headed handle. The vessel is covered in a yellow green glaze, except for the sculptured ring foot with a slightly concaved base. Very fine terracotta coloured biscuit. Chips are missing from the mouth rim and body. Broken spurs (from other vessels during the firing process) adher to the lower body. Earthenware, glazed, height 8.5 cm, diameter 16.5 cm. Han Dynasty (BC 206 - AD 220). Chinese.
