Engraved gems. Magical amulet. Obverse: Isis kneeling in profile to the left, encircled by stalks of papyrus arranged like rays. She holds the infant Horus upon her knees. Her hair is bound in a bun on the nape of her neck, and on her brow is the lotus diadem. Ground line. reverse: blank. Intaglio cutting, bloodstone, 17 mm x 13 mm, circa 100-circa 300. Roman Imperial.
