Mummified Crocodile. This mummy contains a piece of animal bone, not an entire crocodile. Ptolemy V (204-180BC) issued a decree declaring that each pot bought at a necropolois should contain the mummy of one animal. Length 32.5cm. 30 B.C. to 100 AD. Roman period.
