Saucer. New Hall Porcelain Factory, Staffordshire. Circular with deep curved sides, standing on a footring. Decorated with a central red foxglove-like flower on a spray of gold leaves, surrounded by five different floral sprigs, and a border of gold leaves and red berries with a gold band below and on the rim. Possibly pattern no. 288. Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, glazed, painted overglaze in red enamel, and gilded. Height, whole, 3.3 cm, diameter, whole, 13 cm, circa 1800.
