Baluster jug. Unknown potter, England, Surrey, Farnham. Slender oviform body with slightly expanding neck. Loop handle and wide spreading base. Pale buff earthenware, thrown, and partially covered with brown-flecked green lead glaze. Height, whole, 32.3 cm, diameter, foot, 11.9 cm, circa 1275-1325. Medieval.
