Korean celadon-glazed wine bottle

An image of Wine bottle. Unknown pottery, Korea, South Cholla province, Kangjin-gun, Sadang-ri kilns. This bottle has an elegant outline, with a long neck that flares towards the mouth, and a pear-shaped body. It is completely plain. The foot is wide but very low. The body is of fine clay; the clear semi-transparent glaze is evenly applied all over the body and subtly shimmers in a fine jade colour. The foot is completely glazed, and the base shows five quartzite spur-marks. Stoneware, thrown and celadon-glazed. Height, bottle, 29.6 cm, diameter, rim, 5.4 cm, diameter, foot, 9.8 cm, circa 1100-1150. Koryo Dynasty.
