Of Egyptian design; the elongated spout is set at right angles to the long slender neck, beneath which is a wide baluster-shaped body with flat base. The top half of the body has four moulded girdles. The flat cover with concealed hinge is set beneath the rim and has a silver knop. The the loop handle is covered with cane woven in a geometric design. Silver, height, top of the knop, 25.6 cm, width, spout to handle, 20.3 cm, weight, whole, 880 g, 1873-1874. Egyptian Revival.
