Bracelet. This bracelet is dark brown opaque stone with areas of russet, grey and yellow. Six semi-circles in relief embrace eyes, perhaps representing cicadas enliven the surface of this bracelet. However, it was copied from an early 20th century print Tao zhai gu yu tu (Ancient Jade Illustrations from the Tao’s Studio by Duan Fang, 1861-1911). Nephrite, diameter, 10.8 cm, 1850-1900. Chinese.
