Architectural element. Wall Relief. Painted Limestone Relief. Fragment, with dog-like animal (possibly a fox) attacking a bird's nest. This motif is better known from Old Kingdom tombs. This relief comes to the museum with others from the mortuary temple of King Mentuhotep II. Find Spot: Thebes, Egypt. Limestone, height 35 cm, width 55 cm, 2125-2055 B.C. Eleventh Dynasty. Middle Kingdom.
