Studio Ceramics. Earthenware slipware lidded storage jar with two handles. Cardew, Michael (British, 1901-1983). White slip on upper half and on lid, with decoration through the slip in the Cizhou style. With a clear yellow galena glaze overall, circa 1936. Acquisition: Dr John Shakeshaft Bequest.
