Studio Ceramics. Stoneware footed dish, Seto ishizara with raised and everted rim. Yellowish clear glaze over freely painted willow decoration, with light brown bough and blue fronds. Six spur marks in the well. Coarse body. 1800-1850. Japanese. Edo period (1615-1868) / Meiji period (1868-1912). Acquisition: Dr John Shakeshaft Bequest.
