An image of Bust of an old woman in a furred cloak and heavy headdress. Vliet, Jan van, attributed (Dutch, c.1610-c.1668). Reworked after Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn (Dutch, 1606-1669). Etching, black carbon ink on laid paper, height, plate, 59 mm, width, plate, 53 mm; height, sheet, 60 mm, width, sheet, 55 mm, 1631. Production Note: V/VII. Notes: The first state of the print was apparently executed by Rembrandt, then worked over by a pupil, most probably van Vliet. Alternative Number(s): Hollstein (Dutch/Flemish); B355 V/VII. Biörklund/Barnard; BB Rej. 74 IV/V.
