Salt. Pettiver, William (English). Pewter salt cellar. Capstan type, circular with a broad foot. With a pedestal and cup top. Marked "WP, 63" in a circle. Pewter, height, 7.8 cm, 1663. Collection: Antonio de Navarro Collection. Notes: Possibly a fake, as the mark is known to appear on fake pieces. The surfaces are suspicious as they are very smooth.
