Satin stitch, couching, Peking knots. Some gold thread used. Length, whole, 49.5 cm, width, whole, 49.1 cm, circa 1680-circa 1700. Acquisition Credit: Given by Mrs. Soame Jenyns, in accordance with the wishes of her late husband, Soame Jenyns.
