Silk embroidery on silk; deep red ground, polychrome embroidery, satin stitch, split satin stitch, stem stitch. Length, whole, 199 cm, width, whole, 43.5 cm, maximum, circa 1800. Acquisition Credit: Given by Mrs. Soame Jenyns, in accordance with the wishes of her late husband, Soame Jenyns.
