Mount Sumeru rising from the waves with wu-t'ung tree, sacred fungus, peonies and bamboo shoots sprouting from its crevices. Sky full of clouds; peaches. Length, whole, 106.5 cm, width, whole, 117 cm, circa 1700-circa 1799. Acquisition Credit: Given by Mrs. Soame Jenyns, in accordance with the wishes of her late husband, Soame Jenyns.
