Signed: Jusensai hitsu. Producer’s seal: Shin-Izumichô Igakan (the publisher Igaya Kan’emon [Bunkidô]). c.1804-18. Ukiyo-e. Notes: Surimono invitation to a nagaura performance in the ninth month for ôta Yasujûrô. The use of such a large undivided sheet of hôsho (ô-bôsho) paper for surimono continued throughout the eighteenth and nineteenth centures, but the main formats for surimono were sub-divisions of this sized sheet.
