Blade, Ceremonial. Mottled green with light brown areas. This blade combines the forms of both a knife and a tablet. It is long and comparatively narrow, with a straight upper edge and a curved lower one. A hole was drilled from one side near the short end. It is relatively thick and substantial and highly polished. Nephrite, length 33.7 cm, width 5.9 cm, 2100-1600 B.C. Chinese.
