CONTENTS: On recto part of the Office for the Sunday before Advent, beginning imperfectly (terra promissionis introduci nos posse) and ending with the lesson on the Feeding of the Five Thousand (Accepit ergo Jhesus panes et cum gracias egisset distribuit discumbentibus). DECORATION: On verso full-page framed miniature of the Dedication of the Temple of Solomon with full gold, blue and pink bar border, and three-sided acanthus, gold leaf and spraywork border including two half-length figures of prophets with scrolls inscribed Hec est domus (antiphon for the Dedication of a church) and Templum domini. On recto full gold, blue and pink bar border, and three-sided acanthus and spraywork border including two half-length figures of prophets with scrolls inscribed Discubuere and Collegerunt (referring to the lesson on the Feeding of the Five Thousand). Parchment, heavily trimmed, 210 x 143 (168 x 112) mm, framed miniature 160 x 99 mm, 2 columns, 36 lines, ruled in faint brown ink. 1435-1440. Production Place: Utrecht.
