Cream Jug/Milk Jug. Unidentified Staffordshire Pottery. Of silver shape, with pear-shaped body, shaped rim and lip, ear-shaped handle with a kick at the lower end, and three low feet. The front is decorated with an applied wavy stem bearing three moulded leaves and a flower. Ochre-coloured earthenware, the handle, feet and moulded decoration applied in cream clay and lead-glazed. Height 9.2 cm, width 8.5 cm, 1745-1755. Rococo. Sir Ivor and Lady Batchelor Bequest.
