Description: Pale buff stone-paste (fritware) covered with a wash of white slip and decorated in cobalt-blue, turquoise and sage-green, outlined in black, under a clear glaze. On one side, a border of split-palmette arabesques, reserved on a cobalt-blue ground between turquoise lines. The rest of the surface is covered with a repeating design of arabesque medallions and palmettes linked by scrolling stems bearing small saz leaves.
