Pearled border and ground line. The device also appears on the reverse of a medallic portrait of Gustavus III of Sweden. Gold with pointed oval bezel, beaded border and closed back; square hoop expanding at the shoulders, ornamented with bright cutting. Gold ring, red carnelian intaglio, height, intaglio, 22 mm, width, intaglio, 14 mm, circa 1700-1800.
