The whole is realistically chased. The cast body seamed with the back of the cover and set with a hinge. The edge of the cover and body has an applied rim mount. The handle and feet are cast and applied. Silver, height, to top of handle, 5.3 cm, width, handle to back, 22.8 cm, weight, whole, 640 g, 1875-1876. Victorian.
