Canvas, embroidered with polychrome silks and gilt metallic thread in tent stitch. Repeating scroll pattern with small lozenges enclosing swastika motifs, large central lozenge enclosing calligraphy. Case partially lined with pale blue silk and stiffened with thin board. Sewn-in end of blue silk, side edges and top bound with blue and cream woven silk ribbon. Flat purple silk cord with two green glass beads.
