Bowl. Qingbai ware. Circular, with deep, gently curving sides, standing on a footring. The glaze inside the bowl is speckled with black, particularly in the centre. Oval label printed in black with a tower and 'Malcolm Collection' and inscribed in blue black ink 'D./36'. Porcelain covered with very pale greenish blue glaze, except for approximately 7 cm on both sides of the rim. Height 4.7 cm, diameter 10.5 cm, 1100-1299. Song Dynasty (960-1279). Chinese.
