One of two leaves of a manuscript, one showing calligraphy, the other an unidentified scene (Shaikh Sanan tending the swine before the Greek Christian maid with whom he was infatuated from the 'Mantik al-Tair', by 'Attar). Recto: bodycolour including white, with pen and ink and gold verso: black ink within ruled red ink lines on paper, height 171 mm, width 117 mm, 18th century. Production Note: Probably Kashmir.
