Sunflower, by Aert Schouman

An image of Album. Sunflower Chrysanthemum peruvianum maius. Schouman, Aert (Dutch, 1710-1792). Watercolour on laid paper, height 403 mm, width 261 mm; height, page size, 516 mm, width, page size, 362 mm. Album containing 63 drawings. The drawings on white chain paper are laid down on the pages of an album bound in olive green leather tooled in gilt and much rubbed, the boards and end papers detached from spine. It carries coronated crests on boeth sides and stamped on the spine on insets of green leather.
