Illuminated manuscript. Cutting. Historiated initial. Monza, Antonio da (Italian). Production Place: Lombardy, probably Milan, Northern Italy. Parchment, 102 x 101 mm, oblong scene inserted within 80 x 55 mm, pasted on cardboard, circa 1500. DECORATION: Oblong scene of the Adoration of the Magi cut out of a different historiated initial and pasted within an initial C formed of stylised acanthus, precious stones and pearls.
