Japanese kagamibuta, two warriors

The shibuichi disc is applied with shakudo, cast and decorated with two fiercesome warriors in armour. There are inlaid and applied yellow metal details on their clothing and armour and the sword is of copper alloy (brown). Ivory bowl with inset metal disc, applied with shakudo, cast and decorated, and eyelet, height, whole, 1.8 cm, width, whole, 4.5cm, circa 1800-1868. Edo Period (1615-1868).
