Group of Oguri Hangwan seated on his horse (Oni-Kage) clutching his sword, his cloak flying out behind and urging his horse to keep all four hooves on a go table. Crudely carved details of mane, tail and bridle; the chequered table rests on four legs. Natural himotoshi formed through the legs and tail. Boxwood, carved and stained, height, whole, 5.7 cm, width, whole, 3.5 cm, circa 1800-1830. Edo Period (1615-1868).
