Belt hook/dai gou. Opaque pale green jade with brown flecking. The body of this belt hook is decorated with rows of relief spirals, then narrows slightly to form the neck of a horned goat. The features of the goat, its eyes, ears, mouth and horns are simply shown in slight modelling and with incised lines. Nephrite, length 8.7 cm, 960-1279 AD, Chinese.
