Animal Figure/Carving. Pale grey jade with brown and black veining. The buffalo is recumbent with its head turned to one side, the ridged horns clearly defined. The tail and the lower part of the legs and hooves are tucked up under the body. Nephrite, height 9 cm, length 17 cm, 1500-1700. Chinese.
