Mirror. Unknown maker, China. Mirror made from white bronze. It has a wide raised rim with crouching dragons in slight relief. Inscription around the central boss reads cho-yi-shi-sou 'everlasting sons and grandsons'. Between the rim and central fields in a band of seven mythical creatures. Bronze, circa 206 B.C. to 220 AD. Chinese Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD).
