Engraved gems. Magical amulet. Obverse: a female figure in profile to the left. The lower part of her body is draped in a himation which hangs from the left shoulder. She holds a sceptre in her left hand and a patera in her right. Her hair is long, hanging thickly like a veil to her shoulders, and is secured by a lotus diadem. The encircling Greek legend includes four unrecognisable symbols. Reverse: Inscription in two lines 'KOPPA'. Intaglio cutting, cloudy plasma, 21 mm x 18 mm, circa 100- circa 300 AD. Roman Imperial.
