Pewter octagonal dish owned by David Garrick

An image of Octagonal Dish. Chamberlain, Thomas, London (possibly). Octagonal with an oval depression in the middle. The rim is engraved with the arms of David Garrick. This dish was part of a service which belonged to David Garrick (1717-1779) the celebrated actor, and from 1747, manager of Drury Lane Theatre. Pewter, engraved, circa 1750-1775. English.
